Anupendra Sharma is on an entrepreneurial journey. In addition he serves as an advisor or investor to startups in lifesciences/medtech/software. In addition he serves advises two University accelerators including Cornell's McGovern Center & BITS Pilani's Incubator. For eleven years, he served as Senior Investment Partner at Siemens Venture Capital / Next47. Anupendra served on the Board of USARAD, Seventh Sense, China Diagnostics (acquired by Actis & Orbimed), Sequenom (NASD: SQNM), BioImagene (acquired by Roche) and Cylex (acquired by Viracor-IBT), Novira Therapeutics (Acquired by Johnson & Johnson) and Reflectance Medical (acquired by Zoll).
He actively mentors and educates entrepreneurs as the Founder of the Startup Leadership Program, which has educated 3,500 entrepreneurs in 28 cities in 13 countries, and Founder of Harvard Medical School’s Healthcare Innovation & Commercialization program, which has educated 800 MDs, PhDs, Postdocs and Faculty.
